Reportedly, Pastor Prasanna, his wife Sarah, their daughter Prema, their son Abhishek, and five other people were at a prayer service in the hall when the miscreants burst in and began throwing stones and sticks around. They had covered their faces and fled the scene before they could be caught.

Although Pastor Prasanna and another person sustained injuries no one else was hurt, but the church’s window panes and property such as kitchen utensils and refrigerators were damaged. The miscreants have also damaged vehicles parked in the premises of the church.

Unfortunately, the CCTV installed in the church hasn’t been of much use because the miscreants were masked and could not be identified.

Inspector Basheer Ahmed and ACP Puttamadaiah visited the crime scene. The police are currently investigating the case.
