Mangalore, Sep 6, 2013: The family of Panjimogaru Double murder victims under the aegis of Panjimogaru unit of  Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) began a 24-hour long sit-in demonstration in front of the DC office on Sep 6, Friday.

Addressing the protestors, DYFI district President Muneer Katipalla said that the police are not able to investigate the matter and arrest the real culprits due to the involvement of some political forces.

Muneer said that CID has also failed to crack the case. The police departments are enquiring the families of victims but not looking into aspects which need investigation, he alleged.

The delay in the investigation is leading to clash between families of Razia’s husband and brothers. Now both families have urged to hand over the case to the CBI and this demand must be fulfilled at the earliest, he said.
