Pandemonium at Congress meet; youth workers vent ire over senior leaders

Mangaluru, Jan 18, 2022: A meeting convened at the District Congress Office on January 18, Tuesday over the issue of the rejection of Kerala Government’s Brahmashree Narayana Guru Tableau for the Republic Day parade,led to unprecedented pandemonium.

Sources revealed that several members of the Youth Congress were infuriated over senior leaders including B Ramanatha Rai and others. MLA  U T Khader, MLC Manjunath Bhandari and  others were present.

Though the exact reason for the incident is not known, it is learnt the situation had almost reached a point of flexing muscles.  Soon after, the main door of the meeting venue was closed. It is learnt, the senior leaders  later asked the Youth Congress workers to leave the venue.
