Palemar offers pooja at Thumbay vented dam

Mangalore, February 14: District-in-charge Minister Krishna J. Palemar offered a special pooja at the Thumbay vented dam and told reporters that it will be finished in one year. The dam will have a capacity of 14.70 million cubic meters (MCM) and a height of 7m, he added.

The new vented dam will solve the drinking water problems of Haleyangady, Mala, Moodushedde, Mulky, Saripalla, Neerumarga, Thellar, and others.

Mayor Rajani Dugganna, MCC Commissioner Dr. K. N. Vijaya Prakash, Ranganatha Kini, Shantha, and other corporators were present.
