Palakkad division alters train services in May–June for track maintenance

Mangaluru, May 5, 2026: To facilitate track maintenance works at multiple locations under the Palakkad railway division, several train services will undergo cancellations, partial cancellations, and regulation on specified dates in May and June 2026.

Cancellation of Train Service

* Train No. 66325 Shoranur Junction – Nilambur Road MEMU will remain fully cancelled on May 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2026, from Shoranur Junction.

Partial Cancellation of Train Service

* Train No. 16349 Thiruvananthapuram North – Nilambur Road Rajyarani Express will be short-terminated at Shoranur Junction on May 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2026.

* The service will remain partially cancelled between Shoranur Junction and Nilambur Road on these days.

Regulation of Train Services

* Train No. 12618 Hazrat Nizamuddin Junction – Ernakulam Junction Mangala Lakshadweep Superfast Express will be regulated for 1 hour en route on May 9, 16, 23, and 30.

* The same train will face a 30-minute regulation on May 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27, and June 1 and 3, 2026.

* Train No. 22638 Mangaluru Central – Dr MGR Chennai Central West Coast Express will be regulated for 1 hour on May 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2026.

Railway authorities have urged passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and check updated schedules before travel.
