Padubidri: Fire mishap in coconut oil mill

Padubidri, Aug 10, 2022: Coconuts and other related products worth around Rs 5 lakhs were destroyed in a fire mishap at an oil mill at Nadpalu  village near here on August 10, Wednesday morning.

 

The mill is owned by Susheela Ganiga. An electric short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire. Fire service vehicles rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. As there was vast quantity of dried coconut in the mill, it caught fire easily.
