Over 300 Muslims attend special Haj training camps in city

Mangalore, October 2: The members of the Muslim community, who are about to leave on their Hajj pilgrimage within a few weeks, attended a special training camp organized by the management committee of the Zeenath Baksh Yatheem Khana on Oct 2, Saturday to prepare them for their pilgrimage.

Over 300 people, including women, from Mangalore as well as its neighboring areas attended this training camp, which was held at the Zeenath Baksh Yatheem Khana with the purpose of guiding the pilgrims on how to perform the Haj.


Mangalore Qazi Thwaqa Ahmed Musliyar inaugurated the training camp and offered Du’a, during which he prayed for peace and harmony in coastal Karnataka. Speaking about the importance of Hajj, he said that Muslims who do not perform the Hajj in spite of being blessed with health, wealth, and opportunity will incur the wrath of Allah.


State President of SYS Moulana Abu Sufiyan Madani and Dr. Hazrath Moulana Muhammed Fazil Razi spoke about the Sunnah and Faraiz aspects of the Hajj in Beary and Urdu languages, respectively.


Meanwhile, the New Age India Forum (NAIF) under the leadership of Rafeeudeen Kudroli also organized a training camp for the Haj pilgrims at Shadi Mahal in Bolar on the evening of Oct 1, Friday. Over 300 pilgrims, including women, attended the camp and listened to the lecture of Rafeeudeen Kudroli.
