Over 30 injured as two buses collide near Kabaka

Puttur, Oct 14, 2013 : Over  thirty bus passengers were injured in a head-on collision between KSRTC and private buses at Polya near Kabaka in the outskirts of Puttur town on October 12, Saturday evening.

If the  private  bus was on way to Mangalore from Puttur, the KSRTC bus was heading towards Puttur. It is being alleged that negligence on the part of the private bus driver was the cause of the mishap.

It is learnt the driver of the private bus has sustained a fracture in his leg. The condition of some of the injured is said to be critical. They have been admitted to various hospitals.
