Mangalore, Aug 15, 2013: The Nation is celebrating its 67th Independence Day and shops selling national flags in varied sizes have made brisk business.
But a peculiar fact that is noticed is that most of these mini National Flags are ‘Made in China.’ One can observe these stickers in the packets in which National Flags are supplied to shops. It is undeniable that India is a big market for Chinese products though their quality issue is much debated upon. But, that China is making business even by manufacturing Indian National Flags is something that is intriguing. The government need to take note of this and ensure that Made in India National Flags are allowed to be sold in the nation henceforth during days of National Importance.
