Orange alert for coast from June 8 to 11; heavy rains predicted

Mangaluru, June 8, 2024: The Weather Department has issued an orange alert for the coastal districts for the next four days and has predicted heavy rains across the coast.

The orange alert is from June 8 to 11 while the Department has issued an Yellow Alert for June 12.

A total of 6.7 mm rainfall was recorded in Dakshina Kannada district as on Friday morning.
