Open air theatre inaugurated at Kadri

Mangaluru, Sep 12,2017 : An open air theatre (Bayalu Rangamandira) constructed by the Mangaluru City Corporation was  inaugurated at Kadri grounds on September 12, Tuesday by DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai. The stage has come up at a cost of Rs 60 lakhs.

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion,  Rai said the Bayalu Rangamandira is a gift of the MCC to people of the area and added that the local corporator DK Ashok had taken the initiative to have an open air theatre.

 

Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Deputy Mayor Rajaneesh, former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, corporator D K Ashok and many others were present.

Rice was distributed to poor families on behalf of Kadri Friends on the occasion of Janmashtami.
