One Day Photography Workshop held in Mangalore

Mangalore, Dec 19, 2011: The Mangalore Photography Club organized the third full day Photography Workshop at Hotel Moti Mahal on Sunday December 18th, 2011. This was a basic Photography course meant for beginners as well as advanced amateurs.

The workshop was attended by 45 people. The resource persons were Dr.Krishnamohan Prabhu, Rohit.S.Rao and Dijaraj Nair.

 

The workshop included theory sessions which dealt in topics like composition, Lighting, focusing and photography concepts. The practical sessions dealt with handling the camera and a detailed instruction on using various cameras, lens & accessories. The participants had a hands on training in portrait, outdoor and other thematic photography.

The organizers also had an impressive exhibition of world class camera equipment, lens’s, tripods and a host of accessories.

The Participants were also introduced to specialized fields of photography like wildlife and nature photography, portrait, still life photography, tabletop photography and macro or close-up photography.
