Offensive social media posts: 21 cases registered in City Police Commissionerate limits

Mangaluru, July 12, 2023: The City Police who are keeping a strict vigil on social media posts which are offensive and aimed at disrupting harmony and peace in the society, have already registered as many as 21 cases in the Police Commissionerate limits.

A press communique from the Police Department said the various police stations as well as the social media cells in the stations are monitoring social media posts and would promptly act against those who make offensive, derogatory posts relating to religion and other aspects.
