No water supply in several parts of Mangaluru on Feb 6

Mangaluru, Feb 4, 2024: The Mangaluru Municipal Corporation has announced a planned maintenance operation that will temporarily disrupt the Tumbe-Bendoorwell-Panambur water supply system, affecting various parts of the city.

The interruption is scheduled to take place from 6 am on February 6th to 6 am on February 7th, during which the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) will be installing a bulk ploughmeter near Bendurvel in Vyasa pipe.

The 1000 mm water supply system is crucial for providing water to the city, and the scheduled maintenance is aimed at improving its efficiency. However, the Corporation foresees inconvenience in water supply during the specified period.

Areas expected to be notably impacted by the disruption include low-lying regions such as PVS, Ladyhill, Maryhill, Pacchanadi, Ashokanagar, Derebail, Kodialbail, Kadri, Naguri, Suratkal, Katipalla, Kulur, Jalligudde, Kodikal (partially), Kana, Kulai, Mukka, Panambur, and others.
