No government can rob people of their rights: Shivasundar

Mangalore, Jul 25: Renowned reporter and writer Shivasundar said that people’s fundamental rights have been suppressed by its leaders at a seminar organized by the People’s Union for Civil Liberties on the subjects MSEZ, democracy, and freedom of the media in Milagres Hall on July 24, Saturday. He also declared that no government can rob the people of their rights to live and to express.

Retired Justice M. F. Saldanha said that corruption has gone out of hand in this country, adding that the state of Karnataka, which was around 49 percent corrupt when the BJP came to power, has become 99 percent corrupt by the time the BJP completed two years in office.
