Nitte to organize walkathon to mark World Diabetes Day on Nov 13

Mangaluru, Nov 11, 2022: On the occasion of ‘World Diabetes Day - 2022’, Nitte Day Care Clinic and Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable of Nitte (deemed to be university) to organize  ‘Walkathon -2022’ on Sunday, 13th November 2022. This walkathon will start from Nitte Day Care Cinic, Pumpwell at 7.30am and moves through Kankanady, Bendorewell, Collectors’ gate, SCS Hospital, Colaco Hospital, Bendorewell, Sultan Gold road and ends at Nitte Day Care Clinic, Pumpwell.

 

Nitte Day Care Clinic is offering free Physician consultations and Blood sugar test at NDCC, Pumpwell on 13th and 14th November 2022 from 8 am to 8 pm. Special Concessions on diabetic screening packages are also available.

Regular package of Rs.2200/- is available for Rs.999/- with Physician Consultation, ECG, Chest X-Ray, Glycosylated Haemoglobin, Lab tests including Haemoglobin, Total Count, Differential Count, Blood Grouping and Typing, FBS, PBS, Urea Creatinine, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile and Urine Analysis.  

Comprehensive package of Rs.5350/- is available for Rs.1999/- with Physician and Ophthalmologist Consultation, ECG, Chest X-Ray, Echocardiography, Glycosylated Haemoglobin, Lab tests: Haemoglobin, Total Count, Differential Count, Blood Grouping and Typing, FBS, PBS, LFT, Urea Creatinine, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile and Urine Analysis.  

A Diabetic Friendly food exhibition has been organized in association with Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services at  Nitte Day Care Clinic on 13th and 14th November 2022 from 9 am to 4 pm with 25 recipes which are very healthy food suitable for diabetic patients.
