Nitte University moves up to 1001–1200 band in THE World University Rankings 2027

Mangaluru, Sep 30, 2026: Nitte (Deemed to be University) has improved its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, moving to the 1001–1200 band, from the 1201–1500 band in 2026.

The improvement reflects the university’s continued efforts to strengthen its performance across the five broad areas assessed by THE — teaching, research, research quality, industry engagement and international outlook.

The university said the improved ranking band reflects its focus on academic excellence, impactful research, innovation, international engagement and social responsibility.

The achievement also highlights the collective efforts of the university’s faculty, staff, students and alumni, along with its academic, industry and community partners, the university said.
