New office bearers of CREDAI, Mangalore Chapter installed

Mangalore, May 26, 2013: Pushparaj Jain, the new President of Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), Mangalore Chapter, and his team of office bearers were installed at a  function held at Moti Mahal here on May 25, Saturday.

The other office bearers are  D B Mehta(Vice-President), Ganesh A Bangera(Honorary Secretary), Shrinath Hebbar(Joint Secretary),Vinod A R Pinto Treasurer) K C Naik, S M Arshad, William D’Souza, Dheeraj Amin, Siraj Ahmed, Sanath Kumar Shetty and Rohan Monteiro(Members). The new office bearers will manage CREDAI for two years viz 2013-15.


Outgoing President P M A Razak of Plama Developers said the  problems of builders are not redressed by the government despite them paying  40 per cent of taxes to  the government. He said CREDAI has 12,000 members in 20 states of India.  Builders contribute 24 percent of GDP in state  and 68 percent in the district, he informed.


The new President Pushparaj Jain in his address recalled the contributions of the previous presidents of CREDAI and said  builders should have a social responsibility by building affordable homes to the poor.


Mangalore South MLA J R Lobo congratulated the new team of office bearers of CREDAI. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, KC Naik, former CREDAI president and Chairman of Mahabaleshwara Group, Rajendra Kumar, SCDCC Bank Chairman, Anil Nayak, Executive Member of CREDAI Bangalore Chapter   and others spoke.


Former chairmen of CREDAI were honoured on the occasion.


Srinath Hebbar, Chairman of Land Trades proposed the vote of thanks.
