New complaint filed in Dharmasthala incident after SIT advice, police register case

Belthangady, Aug 5, 2025: In connection with an incident that occurred in Dharmasthala village, Jayanth, a resident of Ichilampadi in Belthangady, came forward to file a complaint. He visited the Special Investigation Team (SIT) office in Belthangady to submit his grievance.

After reviewing the complaint, SIT officials advised Jayanth to lodge it at the Dharmasthala police station for appropriate legal action.

Accordingly, on August 4, 2025, Jayanth submitted his complaint at the Dharmasthala police station, where the case has been registered under the number 200/DPS/2025.

Dharmasthala police have confirmed that they have accepted the complaint and further investigation into the matter is underway. More details regarding the incident are awaited.
