New Year party turns sour; Man bites off youth’s nose!

Belthangady, Jan 01, 2023: A New Year party organized by some youngsters at Pilya on Sunday night turned sour when a youth bit off the nose of another man̤.

The injured Deekshith (28) has been hospitalized. The accused is Rakesh. It is learnt a clash broke out under the influence of alcohol when Rakesh of Moodigere origin, bit the nose of Deekshith very hard.

 

The injured youth was provided treatment at a private hospital at Guruvayanakere and later at Belthangady Government Hospital. From there he has been shifted to Wenlock Hospital.

Local police are investigating the case.
