Mangaluru, April 30, 2025: Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal has announced that the Netravati Bridge, which had been closed for construction and repair work, will reopen for vehicular traffic on May 2.
According to officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), a new bearing has been successfully installed on one of the bridge’s pillars, and all essential repair work has been completed.
The bridge is currently undergoing a concrete curing process, which is expected to be completed in the next two days.
Once this process is finished, the bridge will be fully ready for use starting May 2.
