Nelyady : 18 year old girl drowns in lake

Nelyadi, Nov 15, 2021: An 18 year old girl reportedly drowned in a lake at Ambarje in Konalu village on Monday morning.

The deceased is Shreya, daughter of Mohan. She was a second PUC student of Ramakunjeshwara PU College.

 

It is said Shreya had been to the lake near her house to place a lotus when she accidentally slipped and drowned.

When she did not return for long,  her family went in search of her only to find her dead in the lake.

Uppinangady police have registered a case.
