Kadaba, Nov 13, 2025: Lady Superstar Nayanthara and her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, paid a special visit to the revered Kukke Subramanya Temple in Karnataka on Wednesday.
The couple took part in the Sarpa Samskara Puja, a significant two-day ritual performed to seek relief from Naga Dosha — a serpent-related curse believed to cause delays in marriage, issues with childbirth, skin ailments, and career obstacles.
Although the couple has not revealed the reason behind performing the ritual, their temple visit has drawn considerable public attention, with videos of the occasion going viral on social media.
Located in Kadaba taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, the Kukke Subramanya Kshetra is one of South India’s most prominent Naga Kshetras (shrines dedicated to the serpent deity), where Lord Subramanya is worshipped in the form of a serpent.
The couple was accorded a warm welcome and felicitated by Harish Injad, chairman of the temple management committee.
