National inter-collegiate fest inaugurated at Besant Women’s College

Mangalore, Sep 6, 2012: A national inter-collegiate talents competition was inaugurated at Besant Women’s College with Shailaja Rai, COO of Robosoft Technologies in Udupi, as the chief guest, on September 6, Thursday. 

The event comprises a number of cultural events such as documentaries, dance groups, general quiz, and others. An event called “Bequest – A Quest for the Best” will be held on September 6 – 7.

Kudupi Jagadish Shenoy, president of Women’s Educational Society, Mangalore, also took part in the inauguration ceremony. 

The dignitaries, in their address, urged students to showcase their talents and faculty members to help students express their talents. 

Dr. Manjula K. T., principal of Besant Women’s College, delivered the welcome address; Dr. Sudha K., student welfare officer, delivered the vote of thanks; and chief guest Shailaja Rao unveiled the trophies.
