National Seminar on ’Commercial Banks, MFIs’ inaugurated

Mangalore, Sep 12, 2013 : India can be financially independent when the micro-finance gets importance in  rural areas, said Karthikeyan VS, General Manager of Corporation Bank.

 

 

He was speaking after inaugurating a  National seminar  on "Effective partnerships between commercial banks and micro finance institutions" at Besant First Grade Evening College  on September 12, Thursday.

Continuing, he said there was a need for each and every student to have a particular goal in life and urged students to constantly strive towards realizing that goal.

Dr.Krishna Reddy from Apex body of Micro Finance Sector, delivered the key-note address.

Nagar Narayan Shenoy, Correspondent, Kudpi Jagadish Shenoy, President of Women’s National Education Society, Dr Carmelita Goveas, Principal, Prof. Ganapathi Bhat, Head of the Department of English  and others were present.
