Nalin demands stern measures to crack down terror links in coastal region

Mangalore, Nov 13, 2013 :  Mangalore MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has urged the state and Union governments to  conduct an in-depth probe into the terror related activities in  the coastal districts and  initiate stern action against those  abetting such acts which were converting the coastal region into a  base of  terrorists.

He also warned that the BJP would resort to a severe protest  if the government failed to act in this direction.

 

Referring to the Aysha Banu arrest case, he alleged that the  government has not  strengthened the intelligence department despite having information of the terror links of the region.

He also said that the BJP was ready to extend its wholehearted co-operation to the government in rooting out terror activities from the region.
