Nalikeyavara Sangha demands apology from Araga, C T Ravi

Mangaluru, Mar 18, 2023: The Nalikeyavara Samaja Seva Sangha of Belthangady has demanded an apology from State  Minister Araga Jnanendra and BJP leader C  T Ravi for their comments on Guliga Daiva during their speech in Shivamogga.

 

S Prabhaker of the Sangha said that the BJP leader’s statement that even Daivas like Guliga and Panjurli were in favour of BJP was an insult to the culture of Tulunad and urged the two leaders to apologize.

The BJP which came to power in the name of Hindutva was now insulting the Tulunadu culture, he alleged.

On the promise of pension for Daiva Narthakas by Minister for Kannada and Culture Sunil Kumar, he said so far only one person has received pension of Rs 2000 that too after five months.

He said both the BJP leaders must apologize at a Guliga Daivasthana in Tulunadu failing which protests will be held.
