NSG to conduct counter-terrorism mock exercise in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, July 23, 2026: The National Security Guard (NSG) will conduct a Counter Terrorist Exercise across Mangaluru from July 22 to 25 to assess the city’s security preparedness.

The exercise is being carried out solely to evaluate the readiness and coordination of security agencies in responding to potential terror threats.

During the exercise, temporary traffic restrictions and enhanced security measures may be in place. The district administration has urged the public to cooperate with security personnel and strictly follow their instructions.

The Deputy Commissioner’s Office has also appealed to citizens not to pay heed to rumours and to extend full cooperation to the district administration and the police throughout the duration of the mock exercise.
