NRI businessman and Philanthropist Dr Ronald Colaco’s mother Alice passes away at 97

Bengaluru, Nov. 30, 2025: Alice Colaco (97), wife of late Fabian Brunei Louis Colaco, passed away peacefully on Friday. Born on January 20, 1929, she was known for her gentle nature, deep faith and commitment to family.

She is survived by her children Fred, Ronald, Joe and Laveena.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Speaker U.T. Khader, ministers Dinesh Gundu Rao, Dr. G. Parameshwara, K.J. George, MLC Dr. Arathi Krishna and others condoled her demise. Senior clergy, including Archbishop of Bangalore Dr. Peter Machado and bishops of Mangaluru, Udupi and Mysuru, along with top police officials and numerous well-wishers, also expressed their sympathies.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Brigade Road, with burial at the church cemetery in Langford Town. Public viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
