My fight is not against my opponent, but Kalladka Bhat, declares Ramanatha Rai

Bantwal, April 18, 2013:  District Congress President and Congress candidate from Bantwal Ramanatha Rai has declared that his fight was against RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat and not against the local BJP candidate Dinesh Naik.

 

Addressing a party workers’ convention at BC Road on April 17, Wednesday, Rai said it was almost clear that the BJP candidate  who has been fielded against him was a scapegoat. Rai  further said    the voter will give  a befitting reply to all those acts and  conspiracies aimed at disturbing the social harmony in the region.

The BJP should not be under the impression that it can win the elections merely out of money power. It should not forget that the people here are enlightened voters,” Rai said. He said there was no denying that the voter is disillusioned with the BJP rule and is repenting his decision to elect the BJP to power.

 Rai who was visibly emotional towards the end of his speech said he  belongs to the people of his constituency where he  was born and brought up.
