Murder of teenager sparks tension in Kasargod

Kasargod, Jul 7, 2013: Buses are off roads and shops have downed shutters in Kasargod which  is tense following the brutal murder of a teenager.

The murder took place at Anangoor JP Colony on July 7, Sunday morning. It is reported that a youth named Sabith (18) was attacked with sharp weapons by two bike bound assailants, when he was on way to Meepuguri with his friend Rayees. Though Sabith was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed there.

Luckily,Sabith’s friend Rayees escaped unhurt. Sabith worked in a shop at  Benzer Junction.  The police are investigating the case. Though the exact motive of the murder is not known, it is suspected to be  a revenge killing.
