Mumbai-bound trains from Mangaluru partially curtailed till June 12

Mangaluru, May 29, 2026: Services of several major trains bound for Mumbai have been partially curtailed as Central Railway has extended the temporary restrictions due to ongoing platform expansion works at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai.

According to Sunil B. Narkar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway, the partial termination of train services at Dadar and Thane stations has now been extended for another 25 days, till June 12.

As per the revised schedule, the Madgaon–Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express (Train No. 22120), departing from Madgaon between May 27 and June 12, will terminate at Dadar station instead of Mumbai CSMT.

Similarly, the Mangaluru Junction–Mumbai CSMT Express (Train No. 12134), departing from Mangaluru Junction between May 27 and June 12, will be partially terminated at Thane station instead of Mumbai CSMT.

Railway authorities stated that the temporary changes have been made due to the ongoing infrastructure works at Mumbai CSMT. Passengers travelling from Mangaluru and Goa regions to Mumbai have been requested to take note of the revised arrangements and cooperate with the railway administration.

The Railways also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers.
