Muliya Thimmappaiah Award conferred on eminent writer K T Gatty

Udupi, March 14, 2021: Eminent writer K T Gatty was conferred the  prestigious Muliya Thimmappaiah Award at a function held at Udupi under the aegis of the Rashtra Kavi Govind Pai Research Centre, Manipal Academy for Higher Education, MGM College Udupi and Muliya Thimmappaiah Award  Committee on March 13, Saturday.

Prof. B A Viveka Rai, former vice chancellor of Hampi Kannada University and  President of the  Muliya Thimmappaiah Award Committee conferred the Award.

He  said  the awardee K T Gatty who is also a known educationist has  taught English to thousands of students in India as well as Ethiopia and has contributed   several valuable literary works in the field of education.

In his address, K T Gatty, said his writings will be more meaningful when readers read and understand them.

Educationist Mahabaleshwar Rao, MGM College Principal Dr Devidas Naik, Manorama M Bhat, Muliya Raghavayya and Muliya Gopalkrishna Bhat of the Award Committee and others were present.
