Mudslip on tracks of Mangaluru-Padil Junction; train services suspended

Mangaluru, June 30, 2022: Heavy rains has led to mudslip on the railway track of the Mangaluru-Padil Junction on June 30, Thursday morning.  The train services on this route have been suspended for the day, railway officials have said.

 

Accordingly Subrahmanya Road-Mangaluru Central (Train No. 06488) and Mangaluru Central-Subrahmanya Road unreserved Express (train No. 06489) have been cancelled for the day.

The  task of removing the soil from the track is underway and the track would be open for trains from 4.30 pm, railway officials have informed.
