Moving car catches fire in Kadaba, none hurt

Kadaba, May 15, 2022: A moving car caught fire at Perundotti Katte in Kombaru Village in Kadaba on Saturday night. No casualties were reported as the family of four escaped from the vehicle on seeing flames from the engine.

The incident occurred on Saturday night when the car was proceeding from Patrame towards Kombaru.

According to the sources, on seeing flames and smoke suddenly emanating from the engine, the driver Ananda Gowda stopped the car on the road and rushed out of it with 3 others including a child.

A short circuit in the engine is suspected to have led to the fire. The police are investigating.
