Motorcyclist killed in head-on collision with private bus in Kundapur

Kundapur, Jan 24, 2026: A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a tragic road accident involving two private buses at Shetrakatte junction on Saturday morning.

The deceased, Vijay Devadiga, a resident of Saukuru, ran a fast-food outlet in Thrasi. He was riding from Thrasi towards Saukuru when the incident occurred.

Sources said that while attempting to overtake a private bus at the junction, Vijay collided head-on with another private bus coming from the opposite direction. The impact was severe, causing fatal injuries on the spot.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.
