Mother, daughter from Bantwal pass II PUC exam together in remarkable feat

Bantwal, Apr 10, 2026: The results of the II PUC annual examination for the current academic year have been announced, and a mother and daughter from Bantwal have achieved a remarkable feat by passing the exam together.

Netravathi V.R., a homemaker from Kaikamba in B.C. Road, appeared for the exam this year as a private candidate, fulfilling her long-cherished dream of clearing PUC. She passed in her first attempt in the Arts stream, securing 257 marks.

Her daughter, Hemashree R., a student of Government Pre-University College, B. Mood, also appeared for the same examination and scored 562 marks in the Arts stream. She passed with distinction and secured first rank in her college.

Ravikumar, the head of the family and headmaster of Nandavara Government Primary School, expressed his happiness over the achievement of his wife and daughter accomplishing this milestone together.
