Moodbidri: class 10 student succumbs to brain fever

Moodbidri, April 16, 2024: A tragic loss struck Mount Carmel School in Shirtadi as a 15-year-old 10th-grade student, Swasthi Shetty, passed away from brain fever on Sunday at a private hospital in Mangaluru.

Swasthi, known for her prowess in throwball and dance, leaves behind grieving family and friends.

Her father, Satish Shetty, works in Goa, while her mother, Saritha Shetty, is employed at the Navamaitri Multipurpose Cooperative Society in Shirtadi. Originally hailing from Waltady, the family presently resides in Moodbidri.
