Moodbidri : Youth electrocuted while plucking arecanut

Moodbidri, Sep 12, 2019: A youth  was electrocuted after he came into contact with a live wire while plucking arecanuts on Thursday morning at Beluvai.

The deceased has been identified as Keerthi (30). Keerthi who had climbed the areca tree was unaware of the electric line and had touched it accidentally resulting in the mishap. He   fell from the tree soon after he came into contact with the live wire and breathed his last.
