Moodbidri: Two arrested for running prostitution racket

Moodbidri, Aug 28, 2025: Two persons were arrested in Moodbidri on Tuesday for allegedly running a prostitution racket from a building in the town.

The accused have been identified as Rajesh Bovi, a resident near Swarajya Maidan, Moodbidri, and Bharat Jain, a resident of Naravi in Beltangady taluk.

Acting on credible information, police raided a room on the upper floor of a building located on the road leading to a private hospital in Marpady village. The operation, led by police inspector Sandesh P G, resulted in the arrest of the duo.

Moodbidri police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
