Moodbidri: Married woman dies by suicide at home

Moodbidri, Jul 18, 2026: A married woman allegedly died by suicide after hanging herself at her residence in Koppadakumeri, Mijar, near Moodbidri on the evening of July 17.

The deceased has been identified as Sneha, wife of priest Guru Bhat.

The exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained. Police from the Moodbidri station visited the spot and conducted an investigation.

Sneha is survived by her husband and two daughters. An investigation is underway.
