Moodbidri: Man dies after falling into well with tractor

Moodbidri, Oct 21, 2025: A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday morning in Mantradi, Kombettu, under Nellikaru Gram Panchayat, where a young man died after accidentally falling into a well along with a tractor.

The deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Rajesh, a resident of Kombettu.

Rajesh was washing a tractor belonging to his relatives near his house, parked close to a well. During the process, the tractor unexpectedly rolled towards the well. When Rajesh tried to stop it, he lost control and fell into the well along with the tractor, resulting in his death.

He is survived by his wife and two young children.
