Moodbidri: CCTV captures cattle theft in Kallamundkur

Moodbidri, Aug 23, 2025: CCTV cameras captured a case of cattle theft near a cooperative society at Bark Betta in Banangady, Kallamundkur, on the night of August 19.

The footage shows two masked men arriving in a vehicle and luring two cattle with what appeared to be biscuits. After tying the animals with ropes and securing them to a pillar, a third person joined the duo, and together they struggled to load the cattle into the vehicle. The vehicle is believed to have entered and exited from the Moodbidri route.

Following the incident, Balaram Prabhu filed a complaint at the Moodbidri police station. Police have registered a case and are confident of nabbing the culprits.
