Moodbidri: CA student dies due to heart attack during trek at Konajekallu hill

Mangaluru, Sep 17, 2025: A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday morning near Moodbidri, when a student suffered heart attack and fell to death while trekking at Konajekallu hill.

 

 

The deceased has been identified as Manoj N. (22), son of Gopalakrishna Bhat from Bettampady Nadavadka, Irde village in Puttur taluk.

According to reports, Manoj and his friend Karthik (22), a resident of Adoor in Kerala, both final-year CA students in Mangaluru, had gone trekking to Konajekallu hill. During the trek, Manoj accidentally slipped following heart attack, and died on the spot.
