Moodbidri: 2 dead, 3 injured in lightning strike

Moodbidri, Nov 02, 2021: Two young men lost their lives while three others sustained injuries when lightning struck them  on November 1, Monday evening. All the five were on a trip to Yerugundi Falls  at Kanchilbail when  there was heavy rains accompanied by thunder and lightning.

 

The deceased are Yashwanth (22), son of Srinivas Mugera and Maniprasad (22), son of Ratnaker Poojary, both from Kanchilpadavu.

The injured namely Sandeep, Ganesh and Praveen Kumar have been hospitalised.
