Missing woman from Bantwal found dead in Mysore; daughter, paramour critical

Bantwal, April 22, 2013 : A woman  from Sanooorpadavu village in Bantwal, who was earlier reported missing along with her eight year old daughter, has allegedly committed suicide at a private lodge in Mysore on April 21, Sunday.

The man with whom the  woman had eloped and her daughter  who too had attempted suicide,  are under treatment in a hospital. However, the condition of the man is said to be serious.

If Mohini (34) , wife of Babu Poojari was found dead,  Narendra (38) hailing from Teerthahalli and  Manisha (8) were found unconscious and later admitted to KR Hospital.

Sources said Narendra was married and has a daughter and that his wife is now pregnant. It is learnt, he came into contact with Mohini when he worked as a clerk in a quarry at Bantwal and used to visit the hotel of Babu Poojari.

It is also learnt that Mohini had left home with a cash of Rs 25,000 and gold ornaments. Mohini, her daughter and Nagendra had roamed several places and had finally reached Mysore where they ended their life. A receipt found in the room revealed that  Mohini had even sold off her gold karimani and was wearing an artificial karimani.
