Missing housewife found dead in pond along with 7 yr son

Bantwal, Oct 5, 2013 : A young housewife who was reported missing along with her seven year old son from Chandalike in Vittal two days ago has been found dead with the child on October 4, Friday.

 

 

The bodies were found in a pond at a plantation close by the Kurbala Road.

The deceased are Pushpa (27), wife of one Janardhan and the couple’s son Sharath Kumar. The plantation where the bodies were found belonged to a certain Gangadhar Gowda.

The mother and son were earlier reported missing since October 2 afternoon following which her husband Janardhan lodged a complaint of missing. It is learnt. Pushpa had left the house  saying she was going to the school were her  daughters Kavya and Radhika studied. She had also reprotedly said she would visit her grandfather’s house too but never returned.

The bodies were first noticed by the plantation owner on Friday evening.  Vittal Police were later informed.

Investigations are underway.
