Missing fishermen: tubs recovered in Maharashtra

Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2019: Tubs from the boat ‘Suvarna Thribhuja’ that went missing on December 16 have been recovered at Malvan Port in Maharashtra, Karwar Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul, has informed.

He was addressing a meeting of rescue teams and leaders of fishermen.

“Continuous efforts are being made to trace the fishermen. The help from ISRO and of other satellites has been taken. Nearly 100 ships and helicopters are being used for the operation. The Coast Guard, Police and Indian Navy are involved in the search operations”, he stressed.
