Miscreants vandalise Daivasthana at Baikampady

Mangaluru, Oct 17, 2021: Miscreants damaged Jarandaya-Doomavathi Daivasthana and Naga Brahma Peeta at Baikampady on Sunday, October 17. Miscreants broke the shrine’s gates and destroyed a Naga deity idol as well as a statue of Nandi.

The desecration was first noticed by devotees who visited the Daivasthana early in the morning and reported it to the shrine administration. The information was then passed on to the police, who visited the spot. Further investigation is on.
