Miscreants stone house of Madamakki GP Chief who quit BJP and joined Congress

Kundapur, May 08, 2018:  Miscreants have hurled stones at the residence of Madamakki Gram Panchayat President Rajeev Kulal who had recently  quit the BJP to join the Congress  resenting the style of functioning of Kundapur BJP candidate  Halady Srinivas Shetty. The incident occurred at around 9.45 pm on May 7, Monday.

Miscreants were found hurling stones towards the house of Kulal, a resident of Beppe near Madamakki when Kulal was on way home. The lamp post on the compound wall has been damaged.

A complaint lodged with the police has said that the assailants were five in number and had even abused and threatened Kulal.

Kundapur’s Congress candidate Rakesh Malli, Town Development Authority Chief Vikas Hegde and others rushed to the spot. Police investigations are underway.
